The Epson EMP 835 is a high contrast freestanding projector screen suitable for mobile displays.

This screen is very compact when packed in its sturdy metal carry case which doubles as the base.  It comes with secure latches that ensure that the screen does not sustain any damage while in transit. 

Once opened, the case is turned into a base by simply swiveling the two "feet" 90 degrees.  The screen then extends upwards, and is supported by a strong crossover metal frame.  This is one of the easiest screens to operate on the market - there are no screws to fiddle with, no levers to press, just pull up to use, and push down to store away.

The material is a high gain, high contrast canvas that is super bright and very strong.  Once the screen is raised, the frame holds tech screen perfectly still, with no sway, so the image is perfectly sharp.  Like all the best screens, there is a thick black border surrounding the white area, to maximize contrast.

X-Ray images show beautifully on this screen (Tested with the Epson EMP 835 for this review), and video footage is crisp and bright, with little visible grain.

An excellent screen that is perfectly suited to the hospital environment as it takes almost no precious floor space when in the case, and unlike tripod screens, does not pose a tripping hazard in small spaces (where your Trauma meeting may be held!).
